The E3 is equipped with a 500-watt motor and a 36-volt battery. This gives the hoverboard a top speed of 8.1 mph and up to 5 miles per charge. That’s on the lower side for many hoverboards, but for its price, it’s comparable to other boards you’ll see. It’s also faster and gives more range than the 400-watt E2, which has a top speed of 6.5mph and 4 miles of range.
We recommend you charge the hoverboard after each ride to keep the battery in good shape. When significantly drained, it takes about 2-3 hours to recharge, which is not long at all.
When it comes to the health of your hoverboard, caring for the battery is a key responsibility. Only use the approved GOTRAX power adapter for charging. Keep your hoverboard and charger in a dry, indoor space that doesn’t get hotter than 104-degrees or below freezing.
