The ZERO 10X is a high-performance electric scooter ideal for advanced riders who care about high speeds, a long range, a smooth ride, and solid construction.
This isn’t your usual electric scooter. Power and range are the keywords, so if you are alright with its bigger weight and price, you’ve got an awesome riding experience in store.
With an electric scooter of this level, you aren’t messing about. Powered by 2x1000W motors, the ZERO 10X is able to reach a top speed of 35 miles per hour. This takes it up there amongst the fastest electric scooters on the market.
The ZERO 10X comes on two versions; one with an 18Ah battery and with a 24Ah LG battery. The difference here is the price and range you’re getting. On the 18Ah version, you’re getting around 35 miles of range on a single charge (which takes around 10 hours to fully charge). At an extra $460, you can upgrade to the 24Ah version and get a mileage of 55 miles on a charge.
The 55-mile range is some of the best we’ve seen on any electric scooter. The only units we’ve seen that surpass this carry a notably higher price tag.
This is by no means an entry-level scooter. Considering the range and speed, you’re getting a good amount of value for the price.
You’re not only getting speed and range with the ZERO 10X. The construction itself is unquestionably solid.
The 10-inch (3″ wide) tires are pneumatic air-filled which is superior to solid rubber tires. It gives a smoother ride.
For shock absorption, you have both front and rear spring hydraulic suspension so even on the bumpiest roads, you’ll get a firm ride with strong balance.
The entire electric scooter weighs just around 80 pounds, which is on the heavier side, but considering the sturdy construction throughout and the motor power, this is understandable. Additionally, the ZERO 10X can hold up to 330 lbs of weight while maintaining a smooth ride.
The braking mechanisms are very smooth and powerful as well. Disc brakes on the front and rear provide solid stopping power so you can maneuver as needed in tight situations. On the 24Ah model, hydraulic brakes are included.
A lot of things play into the very safe riding experience you’ll get with the ZERO 10X. For instance, the wheels are 3 inches wide, which greatly helps with balance – especially for starters.
With such an amount of power, it is inevitable that heat is generated. Therefore, the ZERO 10X is geared with two 25A speed controllers with massive heat sinks. These heat sinks help dissipate the heat that is generated. This ensures durability, performance and minimal risk of malfunctions due to overheating.
According to rules in many states, you are obliged to have lights that illuminate your electric scooter. The ZERO 10X has both front and rear LED lights, which will ensure visibility (both for you and others in the traffic) in low-light settings.

The ZERO 10X is amongst the best high-end electric scooters out there and thus it isn’t expected to very many downsides.
The main thing is that when you’re getting a high-end scooter, you’re trading portability and lightweight for range, power, and durability. There is no exception to this. Literally all high-end electric scooters with a power output like the ZERO 10X a notably heavier than a Gotrax GXL for example.
Therefore, the only downside is the weight of the scooter (80 lbs). However, it is still foldable, so you can easily bring it with you in the car. You don’t find many lighter electric scooters with 2x1000W motors, though.
The ZERO 10X is for all the thrill-seeking, speed-loving electric scooter riders out there who want to take their riding to the next level.
It is for all of you who are looking to get a high-performance scooter that can reach impressive speeds and travel far on a single charge.
If you care about the smoothness of your ride and having awesome suspension and want to pay that little extra to get the ultimate luxury, the ZERO 10X is an excellent choice.
