Charging Time
Charging time = Capacity (Ah) รท Charger current (A). This assumes constant current charging. Real-world times are typically 10-20% longer as batteries slow down near full charge to protect battery health.
Charging Tips
Upgrade your charger for faster charging. Electronic devices have widely different charging speeds (A). Check your device’s specs to see if there’s room to upgrade to a higher amp charger (e.g. 5A instead of 2A).
Don’t stress about the last 20%. Charging slows dramatically above 80% to protect battery health. If you’re in a hurry, 80% charge in ~70% of the time is often enough.
Charge before the battery is fully depleted. Starting from 20% instead of 0% is faster and gentler on the battery.
